Description:
Sewickley Academy is seeking to hire a part-time Assistant for our after school program. The after school program operates between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Assistant is responsible for the supervision of children. This role will supervise children to ensure continuity and quality of programming.
Responsibilities:
- Check the program's equipment and make sure it is adequate before the program starts.
- Treat all children with dignity and respect.
- Assist the Director in lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation of the After School Program.
- Work with other team members as needed.
- Ensure all children are signed in and out each day.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Report to Director with any problem which may occur with the children.
- Observe, record, and report on the behavior of individual children as assigned.

Requirements:
• Two years' experience working with children Pre K-5th grade in a home or center setting.
